Please Mr. Postman
Sending mail is hands down one of my favorite hobbies. Yes, receiving mail is nice—I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy online shopping because it has that added bonus of Christmas-morning-splendor when you get to rip apart your FedEx box and relish in this thing we call MAIL. But, there’s just something special about picking out that special postcard, or packing up items...
Back in the Berkeley groove
It’s 3am and I’m watching Gossip Girl and eating salmon.
BEST. DECISION. EVER.

Kinda like a bit of infrared
Stuff I did while I was at home this weekend:
Saw the sun set into the mountains while driving on the 118
Saw a Dodgers game (and we won, thank you very much)
Got my teeth cleaned—and some compliments from the dental hygienist along with a lengthy convo about Berkeley and extracurricular activities
Watched my brother’s water polo game (still trying to figure out the rules…)

I'm afraid you're never satisfied
Political Economy is for judging the clothing choices of my fellow classmates.
I’m so tempted to call this kid Henley. He seriously seems to wear one every. single. day. But they’re not really Henleys as they lack a placket of buttons ‘round the collar. They seem more like dark colored thermals with contrast stitching—the kind you would probably purchase in packs of 4 from...

Once upon a time I pressed rewind
So, after some thought I have decided to keep on keepin’ on with good ol’ tumblr. To be honest I have really grown to love this bloggy-blog that I’ve got going here. How could I just up and say goodbye?
So, now that the first two weeks of summer classes have passed, I’m ready set to kick this up.

This blog is officially on hiatus. I’m now working on a new one. Like an actual blog, where I’ll do lots-o-blogging.

SFO to LAX
Back in SoCal for the week and I don’t know what to do with myself. At the very least the sun’s out and the stress load is low. Of course if you’ve ever been to Santa Clarita (or driven through it on the 5), it’s less than excitement-central. Good news is, there’s now a Sephora and a cupcake place at the mall. No, I don’t plan on hangin’ at the mall...

You talk, I walk. Wanna feel the danger
Watching Freakonomics, wasting tons-o-time. Not studying for finals should really be less enjoyable.
Everybody's starry eyed
Wasting time during dead week means researching possible prospects post-college. Number one choice at the moment is flight attendant. Places on my list of considerations:
-KLM
-Virgin America
-Qatar (if you didn’t have to be 23 to apply, and if you didn’t have to attend recruitment events in Asia)
We’ll see what happens…

Wanna know something cooool
So, way back in my olden high school days I used to be a huge Pandora user—I believe my old account was opened with an AIM e-mail… Then I bought a laptop, moved all of my music from my external hard drive to there, went away to college, and started using Last.fm. Needless to say, Pandora fell by the wayside and I soon became dissatified with internet radio in all together
Well, long...

Later you can carry me home
The sun is shining, the air is pollen-y, and my life is slowly imploding. If it weren’t so hilarious, I would probably be inclined to worry. My Monday mornings begin around 5:20am when I roll myself out of the top bunk and get ready to volunteer. It’s pitch darkness and I’m usually only one of two passengers on the bus—which always manages to be about 10 minutes late.
My...

Sicker than the remix
So remember back in January when I was all like “I’m getting a new blog, OMG, OMG…”—yeah so it’s still coming along. (Deciding between blogspot and wordpress is hard). Plus real life kicked in, and it’s been fast, stressful, busy times back in Berkeley. For now, this tumbly is all systems go until I get enough tiempo to sit down figure it all out.

I change shapes just to hide in this place
I’m seriously debating a move to blogger. I know, treacherous right?? But I’m thinking of upping the ‘blogging’ part of blog and I don’t think that’ll work here on my current tumblr. Don’t get me wrong, tumblr, I’ll be loving you long time, but I’m not about to ask you to change. You’re beautiful just the way you aarrrrrreeeeeeeeeeee.

De-laid. pt 1
My journey from Manchester to LAX was a bit of a rollercoaster ride. My flight from Manchester to Chicago is delayed 4.5 hours :( I wasn’t too worried then, I knew I had a hefty layover in Chicago and I still should be able to make my flight from there to LAX and be back home as planned. Yeah, well things didn’t work out quite that nicely. We landed in Chicago just before 6pm. Of...

Can I get a little Goose in my OJ?
Yeah, it’s my birthday. Hello to the very first day of the third decade of my life. I’ve got just over a week left here in Manchester and I still can’t imagine saying goodbye to this city.
But hey, I’m twenty and I’m gonna get the last of my teenage kicks. Cheers.

Ooh la la la la, la la la la la
Proof Britain is changing me= checking my e-mail without a cuppa tea in my hand and Tinie Tempah playing in Spotify just seems plain old boring.
What’s gonna happen when I go back to the states and I can’t blast “Pass Out” without getting weird looks from my roommate??
And where’s my friggin’ PASTA BAKE?!?!??!

Fixin' to Chill
So today I left my wallet at home, I continue to evade my academic responsibilities, and I am currently on my 3rd cup of tea of the day. Yeah, it’s fall. I can slowly feel the novelty factor of study abroad wear off and genuine lack of interest standing just out of sight.
Don’t get me wrong, I love Manchester, absolutely love it. But, let’s be honest, when it comes to the some...

Danes in Harmony
Good morning Copenhagen! So after what might have been the most stressful 2 days of my Mancunian life, I find myself rebounding in Denmark. The sun is up and my stress level is on the decline—what more can I ask for?
How about a Trance/House festival that will blow your mind? Yeah NBD. Sensation here I come.
